General
The Grosvenor has been many things since it first opened in 1915. It has been the largest cinema in the UK (outside of London), a Riley’s pool and snooker hall and, more recently, the Footage – a popular student bar.
The Grosvenor is Manchester’s ultimate adult playground. A place to unwind, play and make memories with beer pong, pool tables, live music, live sport, a ball pool, photobooth…
We have a wheelchair accessible entrance, accessible seating, and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. but we are still working on how to access the building via wheelchair. Being an old listed building there is no dedicated ramp.
Why should kids have all the fun? It’s a place to play and feel playful after work or uni.
We want you to be comfortable! We don’t allow tracksuits, gym wear, trade workwear, or work boots from 8 pm Friday or Saturday. Occasionally, and during specific football matches, we will refuse certain football shirts (on the advice of the police).

Travel
There is on street parking around the venue. The nearest car park is the Aquatics Centre multi story, M13 9SS.
Aquatic Centre Car Park has designated disable bays, however the closest would be the on-street parking around the venue.
We are a 6m walk from Manchester Oxford Road station. Just head down the ramp and turn right onto Oxford Road. We have bus stops all around us – head for the Aquatic Centre stop.
Sports
If it’s on, we show it. We love football and rugby, but we also show UFC, NFL, cricket, basketball etc.
Yes, including all Amazon Prime fixtures. We also show pay–per–view boxing and UFC for many big events.
Of course, we recommend you book to bag your favorite table for football and other major sporting events.
We do always keep some tables for walk–ins, but booking for big games is 100% advisable.
Our tables are booked in 2-hour blocks as standard.
We have one of the largest screens in Manchester – 6m with a 7pp lumens project for the ultimate viewing experience. As some areas have slightly restricted viewing, we have 3 more large TV screens, including one in our ‘Peep Show’ lounge upstairs.
Parties
Of course. We want you to enjoy your party. If your theme is a little bit risqué, be sure to check with our team ahead of time!
We have a number of areas that can be sectioned off for larger parties. Check with our team and we can accommodate you.
Food
We have vegan and vegetarian options throughout the menu
We offer a non-gluten-containing option for all our burgers and fries.
Our tables are booked in 2-hour blocks as standard.
Our pizzas are available to take away but we are more of an eat-in venue.
Play
£5 for the photo booth, £1 per game of pool. We accept cash and contactless payments on our tables.
